BREST COMMERCIAL PORT - Port Crane

A STRUCTURAL OVERHAUL

The crane suffered significant structural damage: cracks in the boom, cracks in the welds under the work cabin and cracks in the welds at the base of the crane shaft.
The crane dates from the 90s, this damage is abnormal.
In order to carry out lasting repair of the damage, we checked the major elements of the kinematics: weight and dimensions of dart, tie rod, arrow and counterweight.
After a study phase, we began work to dismantle these elements.
