REPLACEMENT OF THE BALL JOINTS AND BOOM AXES OF THE JOSEPH PARIS N°41 CRANE

During masting/dismasting operations on the JOSEPH PARIS No. 41 Crane, significant noises as well as strong vibrations at the jib base were noted. The replacement of the ball joints and associated axles proved necessary in order to remedy these phenomena.
Our service includes studies, the supply of 2 ball joints, 2 axes and 4 closing flanges, on-site work and regulatory tests 10 T and 120T.
Constraints during operations: To replace the ball joints and axes, the complete removal of the boom using 3 synchronized cranes was necessary. A specific study was carried out to ensure the stability of the crane without its boom.
