The PHENIX Power Plant is a sodium-cooled fast neutron nuclear power plant.
This is a prototype plant renovated for the program of the 1991 law known as the Bataille law, in particular for the irradiation of long-lived waste transmutation experiments. The plant was permanently shut down in mid-2009.
Raw material evacuation
From this date, preparatory operations for the Final Shutdown (MAD) began, which mainly consist of evacuating nuclear materials from the installation.
Progress of the construction site
Our services concern the studies, manufacturing, on-site installation and commissioning of a 40T/5T handling bridge for the future building “Access zone to the handling building” of the PHENIX power plant.
