A complete construction site

As part of extending the lifespan of nuclear power plants, EDF must change the stators of around 300 T via synchronized mode operation of the 2 heavy bridges in the Machine Room.

To achieve this, EDF entrusted COMETE-J.Paris with the complete renovation contract for the 4 heavy bridges of the Bugey power plant's engine rooms, including the following services:

THE STUDIES

Electrical renovation, automation, air conditioning, fire system; reinforcement of the beam and bogie structure; the rehabilitation of access and gateway expansion; of the new truck and the 175 T and 50 T cabin (following change of CMU).

MANUFACTURING AND SUPPLIES

Electrical cabinets, LGA, G19 box, brake resistors, power garlands; translational gear motors, fire and air conditioning system; of the cart, the cabin and the barrel; 175 T and 50 T blocks and lifting cables.

ON-SITE ASSEMBLY

Rehabilitation of access and gateway expansion; removal of electrical installations; cabin, barrel and muffles; reinforcements of beams and bogies, TH opening and extension of the Direction rail; removal of a section of roof and opening of the skydome; removal and dismantling of the old cart; installation of the new trolley, installation and wiring of the electrical cabinets, the new power supply chain, the new LGA, the fire system and the air conditioning; the reeving of 50 T and 175 T hooks; changing the translation gear motors.
