ICEDA is an INB (Basic Nuclear Installation) constituting the interface between the waste production sites and the final outlet for storage of the various activated waste.

Subcontracted by CEGELEC, member of the RAZEL/ INGEROP/ BABCOK NOELLE/ NOVI group, for the creation of the ICEDA site (Activated Waste Conditioning and Storage Facility), our services concern studies, manufacturing, assembly, the adjustments of the elements, the commissioning and the qualification tests of 2 overhead cranes dedicated to the loading of dismantling waste containers.
The 36T overhead crane allows loads to be handled, its block is motorized in rotation allowing 360° positioning.

The 135T high security level 2 overhead crane allows the castles to be tilted from their transport position (lying) to their handling position (vertical). This tilting is carried out parallel to the steering movement. It allows the handling of TN12 and TN13 type transport packaging in the reception hall of the ICEDA installation on the EDF Bugey site.
The 2 overhead cranes must meet a reliability objective with regard to load drop.
