The lido - Room elevator

LIDO STAGE INSTALLATION

The famous Champs-Élysées cabaret in Paris entrusted COMETE-J.PARIS with the complete overhaul of its stage equipment.

The current installation, dating from the 1950s, showed signs of fatigue and no longer met the conditions to guarantee the safety of artists. After 15 months of research, carried out in collaboration with the Lido, COMETE-J.PARIS was able to offer techniques adapted to the particularities of the site.
The installation consists of :

• A mobile Parterre of 190 m2 capable of lifting 410 people seated
• A 110 Ton capacity elevator to present to the public :
  - 1 80 m3 swimming pool
  - 1 Ice rink of 50 m2
  - 2 Decor Trays capable of carrying decorations up to - 7.5 Tons
• A retractable dance floor structured to support 25 Tons
• A guardrail around the pit that can be retracted in 6 seconds
• Intervention in a cramped space and a limited time frame constituted a challenge for the company.
