A site that meets its requirements
The operation concerns the study, construction and commissioning of 2 mobile boat-door type closures, in steel, intended for drying out the large basins of the Toulon Naval Base.
These works must replace the existing carrier boats No. 12 and No. 16.
These door boats are made up of 10 steel blocks of impressive size and weighing 49t each. These blocks are assembled and painted from January 2018 in form 3 of the Port of Saint-Nazaire before being transported by maritime barge to Toulon in the summer of 2019.
