An unsuitable existing system
Basin 3 of the Brest naval base is equipped with 4 trolleys running on rails, these allow the taking of hawsers in order to restrain the FREMM and keep the ship centered in the basin.
At the same time, an axial winch ensures the movement of the boat, however this system is not satisfactory.
The work therefore consists of modifying the guide rails and adding avoidance winches in order to facilitate the maneuvers of the FREMM within the basin, the first step being the alignment of the FREMM with the axis of the basin called avoidance maneuver, the second being its guidance to its grounding position called guidance maneuver.
